At Layer Seven IPTV (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. §512. We provide IPTV services globally and are committed to a fast, fair process for rights holders while delivering a high-quality viewing experience to our users.
Important status disclosure
Layer Seven IPTV operates as a distributor that indexes/relays streams from third-party sources. Content accessible through our service is provided by third parties. We respond promptly to valid DMCA takedown notices and honor properly filed counter-notifications.
1) DMCA overview & our compliance
The DMCA enables copyright owners to request removal of allegedly infringing material and provides “safe-harbor” protections to online service providers who meet certain requirements. We:
- Publish this DMCA policy and designate a DMCA Agent
- Act quickly on valid takedown notices by removing or disabling access
- Notify affected parties and allow for counter-notice
- Enforce a repeat-infringer policy and accommodate standard technical measures
2) Designated DMCA Agent (for Notices & Counter-Notices)

If you have supporting documents (e.g., registrations, chain of title), attach them to speed up evaluation.
3) How to file a DMCA Takedown Notice (for rights holders)
To be valid under §512(c)(3), your written notice must include all of the following:
- Identify the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (title, registration number, or a representative list for multiple works).
- Identify the infringing material and its location on our service—provide exact URL(s), channel/EPG identifier, stream ID, and relevant timestamps.
- Your contact information: full legal name, organization (if any), mailing address, phone, and email.
- Good-faith statement:
“I have a good-faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material described above is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.” - Accuracy & authority statement:
“I swear under penalty of perjury that the information in this notice is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.” - Signature: physical or electronic (typing your full legal name is acceptable).
Send to our DMCA Agent: info@layer7iptv.com
Tip: Precise links/IDs let us act faster. Vague descriptions (e.g., “movie on sports channel”) will delay processing.
4) What happens after we receive your notice
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Promptly remove or disable access to the identified material (target SLA: 24–48 hours)
- Notify the account holder, upstream provider, or relevant third party
- Provide information on how to submit a counter-notice if the recipient believes the removal is an error or misidentification
- Where appropriate, apply a strike under our repeat-infringer policy
Incomplete notices may require follow-up before action is taken.
5) Counter-Notice (for users/partners)
If your material was removed due to mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification under §512(g) containing:
- Identification of the material and its prior location (URL/ID) before removal
- Statement under penalty of perjury:
“I have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.” - Your name, address, phone, and email
- Consent to jurisdiction:
“I consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district where my address is located, or if outside the U.S., the Federal District Court for the Southern District of New York, and I will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or their agent.” - Signature: physical or electronic
Send your counter-notice to: info@layer7iptv.com
Restoration timeline: If we do not receive notice of a court action from the original complainant within 10 business days, we may restore access to the material.
6) Repeat-Infringer Policy
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for repeat infringement. Accounts or sources associated with multiple valid notices are subject to escalating actions, including:
- Warnings and removal of content
- Temporary suspension
- Termination after 3 strikes within 12 months
- Blocking of re-registration attempts and related identifiers
We may remove content, disable access, or terminate accounts without notice where required by law or policy.
7) Misrepresentations (§512(f))
Submitting false claims or materially misrepresenting infringement can result in liability for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees. Please verify your rights before filing.
8) Global notices & other IP claims
While the DMCA is a U.S. statute, we cooperate with rights holders worldwide. If your jurisdiction offers alternative procedures (e.g., EU/UK equivalents), submit via info@layer7iptv.com and note your jurisdiction.
Trademark or counterfeit complaints may also be sent to info@layer7iptv.com (please specify “Trademark”).
9) Technical measures & upstream providers
We may rely on upstream CDNs, hosting, and third-party content partners. Where appropriate, we forward notices to those providers and implement standard technical measures (e.g., URL/ID blocking, token/geo controls, blacklists) to deter recurrence.
